anyways, i just celebrated my birthday last week and it was fun...funny... so we went out at day time and had our lunch at a Japanese restaurant by the bay, Tajima, its located at Harbor Square opposite the side of CCP. not directly opposite. well anyways, the food was great and authentic, they cooked it in front of you, and it wasn't a conventional cooking-before-your-eyes type of restaurant because it wasn't on the usual hotpan, or the usual ones used in shabu-shabu, they did the cooking on a belevelled part of the table where there are volcanic rocks placed on a mesh to prevent it from falling to the burner. and then they place this mesh-like strainer but for barbecuing, it wasn't all barbecues though, they had a variety of dishes. and since my birthday so happened to coincide with mother's day, they gave my grandma and mom carnation courtesy of the management, and even gave us complimentary desserts. overall it wasn't bad, i liked it. for only 3.5k for 5 persons, it proved good.in the evening, we went out with my aunts and family friends to eat, again in celebration of my birthday. and we went to malate for a restaurant that my aunt heard sizzles up good filipino dishes. so we decided to try it out, the name was Bistro Remedios, and food was good, we ordered sinigang na miso, tadyang (i think), bangus belly something, kare-kare, bicol express, and somekind of lamb. dessert was maja/maha i'm not really familiar with the names. and it was great, the dessert kinda melts in your mouth, i bet it has lots of sugar. and if i remember right it isn't expensive either. ;)

so today's my grandparents' anniversary, 47th to be exact, and again we're eating out. and when we go out to eat, we always end up having minor disputes as to where to eat, and being the driver and all its quite confusing. so it's like lets get the hell on with it. and we first thought of tomas morato, but as we approached roces ave., we pushed through to commonwealth ave, in hopes of finding a good resto in katipunan ave., but as we've tried most of the restos in the area, we drove to libis, only to be disappointed with the wide variety of restaurants in the area.*note my sarcasm* so, we ended up in good ol' eastwood. and as we were searching for the restaurant the we haven't eaten in, we noticed a new pirate themed resto, named Il Pirata, an italian resto. the pizza we got was great, my steak was excellent, and i could see on the faces of mom, grandpa, grandma, and christian that their food were great too. though they only are in their soft opening stage, you would take note that most of the foods are already available and the ambience depicts the lower decks of a typical pirate ship. the ceiling is obviously made of carved wood, especially made through orders only. anyways it was great, and the bill was only like 3.8 grand. woot! good!

and back to the present. lol. just woke up 2.5 hrs ago. and my mom asked me to like countercheck all the invoices for jan-may for any anomalities. and so yeah just took a break to make this entry. and hopefully when im done with my checking, i might just make a new layout... which i doubt i'd finish anyways, the new layout would most likely not be a table layout, but rather the typical vertical down layout. tables eat lots of time... tsk tsk. and its harder to change the layout appearance when working with tables. ;) *wink*
